The Maryland Chiefs of Police Association (MCPA) and The Maryland Sheriffs’ Association (MSA) will host their Annual Training Seminar at the Ashore Resort & Beach Club in Ocean City, Maryland on September 8-10, 2024. We would like to invite you to exhibit your products and services at the seminar.

This year’s exhibitor’s fee is $900 (if paid prior to June 1, 2024) and will provide one 6’ draped table in an 8’x 8’ area with one chair and admission for one person to all events. Tickets for additional associates are available for $300 each. The total number of exhibits is limited to 70 and reservations will be accepted on a first come/first served basis. Exhibit hours are scheduled for Sunday, September 4, 2024 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm in the vendor area. The vendor area will reopen Monday, September 9, 2024, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. and again on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Once again based on your feedback, we have added a third day for the vendor show as well as relocating the vendor show to the first floor ball room and lobby area where all displays will be in one place.  We are also inviting the Quartermaster/Purchasing Agent from each agency to attend on the 10th. This has been very successful! The vendor registration fee also covers inclusion of your company's name and contact information on the Maryland Chiefs of Police Association and the Maryland Sheriffs’ Association web sites for one year.

To take advantage of the discounted vendor fee offered, please register on-line before June 1, 2024.  On June 1st the fee will increase to $1100. We expect all vendor spaces to sell out quickly, so don't hesitate!  We already have a considerable number of our exhibitor spaces for 2024 committed to, so don't hesitate, register today! The MCPA tax number is 52-1235349. The MSA tax number is 23-7442984. If you will need electric for your exhibitor space please indicate this on the Registration form and complete the equipment/service form and forward your payment directly to the Clarion.

This year we will again offer "Premium" table space. These spaces, which are limited to fourteen (14), will be located directly alongside or across from the "food/beverage stations" and other "high traffic" area located within the vendor area. By reserving this "Premium” table space you will afford yourself the opportunity to be more interactive with the attendees. In addition to the regular exhibit registration fee an additional fee of $300 will be required to reserve one of these limited "Premium" spaces.

We continue to work hard to enhance the vendor/exhibitor/sponsor experience and we believe our improvements over the last few years with the revised footprint for the show, longer days and bringing in non-conference attendees for a special "Exhibitor Day" have been very successful. Based on your comments, we instituted a "Exhibitor Passport" program in 2021 designed to drive traffic directly to your booth as well as outside exhibit area adjacent to the conference center for vehicle and large equipment displays and this has been hugely successful!!

Most events of the seminar are geared toward casual attire, however, to maintain proper decorum of our Opening Ceremony and Installation Banquet, we ask our attendees to please dress in business attire. You are invited to attend our Opening Ceremony on Monday morning and all of the meals and activities during the week!

The Seminar check-in and registration is on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.  The first event will begin at 6:00 P.M. To maintain security and protect your equipment, all persons entering the exhibit area must have a name tag or temporary pass. The Ashore Resort & Beach Club will guarantee rooms for seminar attendees until August 15, 2024. Please contact them directly for reservations at 800-638-2100 and not that it is for the Maryland Chiefs of Police Association / Maryland Sheriffs' Association Professional Development Training Seminar room block to ensure your special pricing.

Your support is essential to the success of our seminar and will enable the Maryland Chiefs of Police Association and Maryland Sheriffs’ Association to continue their tradition of promoting cooperative, professional law enforcement in the State of Maryland. If you are unable to participate as an exhibitor, please consider making a financial contribution to the seminar. Exhibitors and contributors will be publicized to all participants during the seminar, on our Seminar app as well as listed on our respective web sites. Additional information regarding the Maryland Chiefs of Police and The Maryland Sheriffs’ Association will be on our web sites at www.marylandchiefs.org and www.mdsheriffs.org

You may want to consider the opportunity of joining us during the “Boardwalk Plunge” on September 10th. Chiefs, Sheriff’s and members of our associations will plunge into the Atlantic Ocean in a polar plunge…a very chilling experience that we know will warm the hearts of our law enforcement survivors and Special Olympics athletes as we raise money for these worthy causes.

We are hoping you will consider being a part of this Plunge through a sponsorship of this event. Please click on the above link for more information  about the opportunities that would recognize your company and their commitment to Maryland law enforcement and our charities of choice, Maryland Concerns for Police Survivors and Special Olympics Maryland.

We have big dreams for the support of the survivors of our Maryland law enforcement community and the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland, and in order to accomplish them, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!  Any questions, feel free to contact Darren Popkin at 667-314-3216 or [email protected]
